"We first considered buying a home in South Carolina after vacationing in different areas of Myrtle Beach for several years. We happened upon Derek Heppe through an online listing for a home he had built and was selling. We weren't quite ready to settle there but kept in touch via email with Derek and several other Realtors for about 2 years. When the right house came along as a foreclosure this year, we called Derek first and have never been sorry we did. "We met Derek at an Open House...we exchanged contact information and Derek followed up with us. He and Rebekah began to show us houses/properties. Through this process, they began to understand our wants/needs in a property. Through their tenacity and in less than a week, we found our Carolina "dream" home. We made an offer around noon as we were heading home to PA and Derek contacted us at 10 p.m. the same day letting us know that the seller accepted our offer. Through a series of e-mails and phone contacts with Derek, we were able to arrange a mortgage, home inspection, survey, home warranty, transfer utilities to our name, find a closing attorney, etc. With Derek's assistance we found the closing process stress free and complete. Derek has a thorough understanding of the real estate process from conceptualizing buyer's desires/needs through close.
